Brother Thomas Taylor Stout, passed away on April 16, 2016.

AGR IS STEP APPROVED!
AGR officially became one of four approved fraternities for Sophomore housing on Wednesday March 9, 2016 by the university. Ohio State’s Second-year Transformational Experience Program (STEP) was developed as a continuation of the university’s effort to redefine the student experience.
Current first-year students will automatically be signed up for STEP when they participate in housing re-selection for the 2016/2017 academic year. Current first-year students who choose to live in an approved sorority or fraternity chapter facility will also be automatically signed up for STEP when they participate in housing re-selection for the 2016/2017 academic year.
The only requirements for expressing interest in STEP are committing to live in the residence halls, an approved Greek living facility, or with a parent or close relative for their entire second year (fall and spring semesters) and being in good standing with the university (requires a GPA of 2.0 or higher).
Second-year students who live in one of the Greek living facilities that meet the qualifications of the Greek Housing Standard and the Greek Housing Implementation Report and are approved by Ohio State are eligible to participate in STEP.

Thank you to everyone who attended Founder’s Day 2016. We had nearly 170 people attend and it was a great day.
I want to welcome our two new board members, Jeff Morlock and Sam Roberts. I think both will be a great addition. Sam will be helping out with our Steer Show and Jeff will give the perspective of a parent of a current undergrad.
Save the date for Founder’s Day 2017 which will take place on Saturday, February 25, 2017!

Brother Richard (Dick) Holdren, pin 641 passed away on Feb. 4, 2016. He was initiated in 1955.
Dick’s family is requesting that any contributions be made to the AGR Capital Campaign in his name. Dick’s sister, Mary Johnson today said that his request was that his ashes be spread on an alfalfa field. Bill Tom is working with the AGR’s in the Wooster area to identify an alfalfa field where they can fulfill Dick’s wishes.
